Hell for vegetarians: sausage hotel opens in Germany

A new unusual hotel has appeared in the small village of Rittersbach near Nuremberg. It is made in the meat style: sausages are present as much as possible in the interiors of the rooms. Wallpaper with sausages, pillows in the shape of sausages, even the soap is made in the shape of a sausage.

The hotel, which is humorously called “the hell for vegetarians”, has only 7 rooms and they are all decorated in a sausage style. And, of course, meat dishes are present in the restaurant menu.

The idea of this unusual hotel belongs to the local butcher Klaus Bobel. He decided to support the family business and popularize local sausages around the world.

Bobel laments that the butcher profession is dying and complains that it is very difficult to compete with supermarkets and retail chains that bring steak right to your doorstep. In addition, modern people have no desire to stand at the stove after a long day at work – and there are more important things to do on weekends.

In his butcher’s shop, he prepares traditional Franconian sausages every day according to an old family recipe. They are usually made from minced pork of a rather coarse consistency with salt, freshly ground black pepper and marjoram.

An indispensable component of Bobel’s meat products – Bändel – is a thin layer that covers the outside of pork intestines.

There are 25 types of sausages from Bobel. Guests can try a variety of meat specialties in the on-site shop and even try them out on their own.

The name of the establishment is BB&BB, which means Boebel Bratwurst Bed and Breakfast. Tourists from all over the world fell for such an interesting hotel. It has already been visited by hundreds of travelers from various countries.

By the way, a standard double room with a large double bed and a hearty breakfast costs 98 euros per day. A deluxe room will cost 118 euros per day.

Recall that earlier we talked about the fact that the Dubai restaurant Gulou Hotpot introduced a rule: if the guest does not eat the ordered, they pay a fine
