Child allowance for low-income families: monthly, documents

Child allowance for low-income families: monthly, documents

Poor child support can be received by those whose average income is significantly lower than the required subsistence level. The amount of these payments largely depends on the region in which the family lives.

Which families are entitled to benefits

You can understand whether you are eligible to receive copayments if you calculate the amount attributable to each family member. If the result obtained is less than the subsistence level of your region, then you have every right to material assistance provided by the state to low-income members of society.

The amount of the allowance for the poor per child differs in different regions.

To calculate income, you need to add up all the funds received in the general budget over the last 3 months. These include the following receipts:

  • Both parents’ salaries.
  • Income from the rental of real estate.
  • Retirement pension for elderly parents if they live with you.
  • Student scholarship.
  • Alimony for minor children.
  • Income from deposits or fees.

First of all, divide the amount received by three, because you added up the income for 3 months. Next, the result is divided by the number of all members. Then compare the number with the living wage in your area, and if it is less then you are eligible for benefits.

You will be able to receive monthly allowance for children under 18 only after your family is classified as poor. To do this, visit the multifunctional center or social protection authorities. You must have the following with you:

  • Original and copies of identity cards.
  • Copies of work books.
  • Certificate of family composition.
  • Marriage and divorce certificate, if any.
  • Copies of certificates confirming the right to housing and other valuable property.
  • Bank statement of the applicant.

The decision to grant the status of the poor and the assignment of additional benefits will be made within 10 days.

Such payments are not included in the federal budget and are paid from the regional treasury. Therefore, in different parts of our country, the amount of benefits is significantly different and the amount can vary from 100 rubles to several thousand. In addition, the poor are provided with many benefits and subsidies that will greatly facilitate their existence.

Despite difficult times, the state is trying to support its citizens, so some may expect to receive child support. To do this, you must visit the social security authorities and bring all the necessary evidence.
