Wrong toasts: why you can’t combine white bread and jam

One of the most traditional combinations for morning toast – white bread and jam or preserves – turns out to be not the right one in terms of healthy eating.

The fact is that refined wheat flour combined with sweet is a double portion of fast carbohydrates that provoke a sharp jump in sugar.

When you have had breakfast with such a toast in the morning, it will provide you with a certain boost of vivacity, but not for long, very soon a decline in energy and mood will follow and the desire to eat will reappear.

Another consequence of this combination is intestinal fermentation. The combination of yeast dough and sugar is “responsible” for this.

It is especially not recommended to eat white wheat bread with jam or preserves on an empty stomach. And if toast with jam is your favorite food, then just replace white bread with whole grain, yeast-free. And if instead of jam or jam you spread honey on the bread, then you will be completely relieved of such a problem as fermentation in the intestines, honey does not cause it.

So, toast – to be! Only the right one: whole grain flour and honey.

Be healthy!

Recall that earlier we talked about how to make toast with avocado and shared a recipe for multi-colored cheese for toasts.
