Sexual domination: all about the soft SM

Sadomasochism (or SM) is a sexual practice punctuated by dominant / dominated relationships. Do you want to learn bondage, integrate handcuffs or spanking into your sexual activities? Here is a guide to discover step by step the techniques of the SM known as soft and of the sexual domination.

What is the soft SM?

Sadomasochism is a role-based sexual practice, where one partner is the dominant and the other is the dominated. There are no predefined gender roles, and the submissive person can be both male and female, and vice versa for the dominant. Thus, a power struggle takes place in the sexuality between the two partners, and it is this role play that stirs up sexual arousal. The dominant takes power over the dominated, and imposes sexual practices on him where he has the ascendancy over him.

There is therefore a notion of violence and pain (moderate and agreed to of course). Indeed, one of the most important things in the practice of MS is consent. We must make the difference between the game and real violence that would be inappropriate. It is therefore imperative to set a limit between the partners, never to be crossed. Everything is based on trust: if one of the partners says stop or does not feel comfortable, the game must stop.

Why does SM give us pleasure?

Sadomasochism is based on a system of submission and domination. It is these roles and the associated symbolism that provide sexual pleasure to partners. On the side of the submissive person, this consented submission is synonymous with oppression and servitude. It is this docility that allows you to let go and surrender to the sovereignty of your partner.

On the dominant side, exercising a tyrannical type of domination gives a feeling of power and power. Just like submission, there is nothing perverse about this domination: it is simply a question, the time of a sexual relationship, of stepping into the skin of another. If you are by nature someone who is shy or who considers yourself docile, this can be an opportunity to experiment with new behavior.

Whip and swift: when the whip gives pleasure

One of the most common practices in SM is probably the swift. The swift is a kind of whip made of straps of suede or leather. There are several models with more or less straps, and which are more or less sensitive. To start, you can simply stroke the erogenous zones of the body (breasts, buttocks, etc.). Then you can increase the intensity by giving small, light strokes on fleshy areas, such as the buttocks or thighs, where the pain will be less.

If your partner enjoys it, increase the intensity of the strikes and vary the areas of the body. You can go further by adjusting the intensity of the blows, always according to your partner’s reactions. Finally, for a softer version, you can swap the swift against your hand, and thus experience the classic spanking, less impressive if you are new to SM.

What is bondage?

Bondage is another very well-known practice of sadomasochism. It consists of attaching your partner to himself using a rope, chains, etc. These knots can be made at the wrists or ankles, without being too tight to avoid injury. They are made with the aim of constraining the movements of the tied person, who is then plagued by the contacts of his partner.

Likewise, handcuffs allow you to attach your partner to a bed or chair, for example. You thus have access to his whole body, which becomes a free area for your caresses. There are also clips that are attached to the breasts, which stimulate the nipples, which are an erogenous zone in both men and women.

Let yourself be tempted by the disguises

The SM allows you to get into the skin of a character. Thus, disguises are often used. These can be leather or latex suits, masks, gags or even balaclavas. The materials that come up the most are often cold materials, such as metal or black leather.

The gag (tissue on the mouth) makes it possible to accentuate the role of dominated: with it, your cries remain stifled and you can only address your partner by signs. Thus, the latter takes over the dominated by depriving him of one of his abilities. You can also imagine a scenario where one of the characters has an authoritarian function over the second. This will strengthen the notions of power and control.
