PSYchology

Even if it seems to you that you know everything about the features of human reproduction, this book is worth reading.

Eminent evolutionary biologist Robert Martin talks about the structure of our sex organs and the ways we use them (and the purposes of these actions) in a really simple and even dry, but at the same time very exciting. And he gives a lot of interesting facts: for example, he explains why Roman taxi drivers are more likely to suffer from infertility or why size definitely does not matter when it comes to the brain. Oh, and here’s another thing: The subtitle of the book, «The Future of Human Reproductive Behavior,» sounds a little ominous, perhaps. Let’s hasten to reassure readers: Robert Martin does not promise at all that humanity will move from the current mode of reproduction to budding, for example. Speaking of the future, he means, first of all, new reproductive technologies and the possibilities of genetic manipulations.
