History of weight loss and lifestyle changes from our reader Julia

Development of the site would not be possible without you, our dear readers. We continue to refill the section “Reviews”, and today their successes and achievements to share with us our constant reader, Julia. Over the years Julia managed to improve its shape, to develop physically ability, to reconstruct the diet and lifestyle changes.

Everyone has their own way of improving the body, but the experience of others can be very useful to acquire new knowledge and additional motivation. We are very grateful to Yulia for what she agreed and deployed to provide detailed answers to the most pressing questions about weight loss and home workouts:

— How long do you do home workouts? Whether you put your goals to lose weight/improve shape? If so, what results did you achieve during this time?

I train at home a little over a year. Definitely increased strength and endurance, coordination, vigour. Improved terrain to pump willpower. The goal was to lose weight including, of course. Here I am still in the process of achieving 🙂

— Did you used the sports or fitness? Why have you opted for training at home?

I did the optional things: dancing, martial arts, even went to the fitness club for group lessons. Worked out regularly, I didn’t like to spend time on the road and dressing in the hall. Besides, I had to adjust to the schedule and generally depend on the club. I have a small problem with my back and once I tried to find some online lessons on Pilates. Suddenly, came across a lot of different programs for any training at home. I liked that the training sessions short (half an hour) and special equipment is not required.

— What can you say about nutrition? Did you follow a diet or any other rules of nutrition? Did you have to change your habits after you began to play sports?

The question of power is the most acute 🙂 I’ve been trying to Skive and get more exercise than you to control the power, but then accepted the necessity of proper nutrition and counting kbzhu. Still there are frustrations and uncontrolled absorption of all that like and want, but I see some progress, mostly trying to strike a balance bdim and not leave the corridor of calories. A great achievement is that now you can eat a tasty dish, if you feel that you have fed. For me it was a very difficult step.

— With what program did you get started? Were there any difficulties or inconvenience for the first time, when I began to do?

Like many, I started with Jillian Michaels “Slim figure 30 days”. The difficulty was that the workout seemed really heavy. Now it is funny to remember:) But just half an hour of such instruction per day was a small price and I passed the course with no gaps.

— What kind of home workouts you have tried? Do you have any favorite programs or trainers? What programs would you recommend to our readers?

I went through almost all programs Jillian Michaels. Passed the program with Michelle Dasua, Autumn Calabrese. Tried some classes at the Sean Ti, Bob Harper, Kate Frederick, Forest mills, now no longer remember. One thing to recommend it is difficult – we all have different abilities and needs, but for beginners I always suggest to pay attention to programs Jillian Michaels. Of the latter, I really liked the program 21 Day Fix Extreme with Autumn Calabrese. I did it even more than three weeks, which is designed course. And cardio from 21 Day Fix firmly took the place of morning exercises. Now I want to leave cardio exercises in the morning and in the evening go to barnie workout Tracey mallet and Leah Disease.

— Were there any programs that seem ineffective or not personally suited for you to some other reasons?

I was a bit disappointed in Michelle Dasua load in her programs seemed focused on the wrong things. And so were separate sessions from different coaches that I was not approached for various reasons: a super-challenging workout Bob Harper or too exhausting cardio Janet Jenkins, for example.

— You prefer a comprehensive program that already has a training plan, or you can make/combine classes at its discretion? If you are doing the complex, whether it complement other training to improve efficiency?

I prefer a finished program, but the appropriate fully met not so much. Plus, what is this program, if there are only 3-4 weeks course:) towards the end of the program we have to add load other classes or doing double workouts from the program. Sometimes it is impossible to keep a workout schedule and have to replace them with other activities. Well, boring sometimes becomes something to hide. Then look to this new to do. In this your website is very helpful, thank you.

— Have you planned any specific training for the coming months? Or maybe there are programs that you plan to try in the future?

Yes, if Bernie workouts will not like it or get bored, I will try Tracy Anderson “Ipcentric” Les mills “Body combat” Shaun T “Cize”, chalene Johnson’s “ChaLEAN Extreme”. While this is the most interesting for me from what I saw on the website.

— Were you able to progressirovanii in endurance/strength training? Are there any significant changes in this respect when we compare ourselves at the beginning of the fitness and now?

I’m trying to motivate my mom to do with Gillian, the simplest her workout. She complains of the difficulty, and I remember that I, too, was difficult, but now these “two countersunk, three prihlopa” cause rather smile 🙂 The “No problem areas” with Jillian Michaels, I take your working weight (2-5kg), and early and three pounds, it was hard to raise:) Nice to know these changes. Now put a horizontal bar at home, will have the opportunity to go through a program where the projectile is required. I hope to learn to catch up.

— How you consider, what you still need to work on yourself? In any of the training aspects you expect progress from you?

I definitely sometimes overdoing it with enthusiasm in training, when it is necessary to focus on food. Because of this a couple of times went to overtraining and dropped out of classes in General. Now try to work on it, but eating habits change much slower than the training, alas. In the training aspect, I think we need to pay attention to hands because the planks and pushups in all variations are the most unloved of my exercises.

— What are the three main advice would you give to those just starting to train at home?

  • Do not put a goal just to lose weight – it will badly affect the motivation in the end.
  • Study regularly – it is better to have a simple/short workout, but every day.
  • Learn to hear your body and be friends with him. Good luck to all beginners 🙂
