Healthy summer: what a child can eat on the beach

Air and water treatments increase appetite. How to feed children in the summer heat under the scorching sun to avoid poisoning and heaviness in the stomach?

Fruits and berries

Summer season is the time for fruits and berries. A rare child will refuse sweet fruits, and they do not spoil quickly. Therefore, for the beach – a great snack. The advantage of eating fruits and berries is their easy absorption and a large amount of vitamins. Be careful with bananas – they give a feeling of heaviness, with watermelons, which can cause poisoning. Prefer pitted berries and process foods thoroughly before eating.

Vegetables

If you cut cucumbers and tomatoes in portions, then children will be happy to eat them in between active games. Carrots are another vegetable that is convenient to eat at the beach. Beta-carotene, which is included in its composition, will protect the skin from the scorching rays of the sun.

 

Beverages

The main condition for drinks is small packages so that when opened they do not have time to deteriorate in the sun. Homemade compotes are not the best option, as they quickly deteriorate in the heat. The best drink is clean still water in sufficient quantity.

Dairy produce

Dairy products – yoghurts, cheese, curds – are acceptable on the beach, provided that they are eaten in the next hour or are packed in small portions hermetically before they are consumed.

Other products

Keep in mind that chips and snacks are an unwanted snack for kids. Take bread, rolls, cookies, dried fruit, marshmallows, and marmalade.

And remember – no eggs, sausages and butter – these products spoil very quickly and can provoke food poisoning.
