Anuga, tasting the future of food

For many it is the most important Food Fair in the world, but without a doubt Anuga is a great world reference for actors in the hospitality and foodservice world

In the most perfumed city of Germany, Cologne, one of the most important events in the world of the food and drinks.

Is Anuga, that with its motto Taste the Future takes us into a universe of innovation and trend that ranges from the food industry, distribution, hospitality and cuisine.

Within its multiple multidisciplinary spaces that will occupy more than 250 thousand square meters, flanked by the banks of the Rhine, in the very culinary lands of Westphalia , from the state of North Rhine, we will see a gastronomic universe full of spaces for exhibitions, seminars and congresses, which will combine perfectly with the rest of the activities, recreational activities and competitions that elevate the contest to a World Rendezvous in the world of Food.

The city of the Ubios, presents a grandiose space of multiple professional salons specialized in all the dynamics of the world of food, hospitality, and culinary preparation.

  • Anuga FoodService: A benchmark of the Horeca channel, which combines the latest trends in the preparation of food for consumption outside the home with the most avant-garde technology at the service of gastronomy. Among its specific activities, it will host the final of the Chef of the Year and Pastry Chef of the Year competitions, which together with the live demonstrations and showcookings, will make of space Anuga Culinary Stage  one of the most popular of the Fair.
  • Anuga Fine Food: specialized in gourmet products, it brings together the best references in the world of delicatessen gastronomy, and it houses the most numerous exhibition pavilions of the Fair where the international presence of brands and manufacturers from Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Great Britain and Turkey, present their novelties and newly launched products at the Anuga taste show.
  • Anuga Chilled & Fresh Food: the place for fruits and vegetables, fresh delicatessen, fish and prepared precooked in its refrigerated varieties prepared for the hotel industry or in its self-service versions. The exhibition space is becoming increasingly important as a result of the boom in the consumption of this type of prepared dishes.
  • Anuga Frozen Food: place where frozen present their professional ranges, occupying the fourth largest surface area at the fair. The largest producers and mediators of this food channel will participate, with the best representatives from Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Egypt and China. A fundamental ally of collective catering in bulk formats, sanitized, and even with portioned dishes or individual servings.
  • Anuga Dairy: La dairy fair which brings together the main players in the sector, Belgium, France, Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Australia and Thailand.
  • Anuga Bread & Bakery, Hot Beverages: The appointment of the bakery, pastry and hot drinks will show its products and especially the huge growing trend in fifth-range products for the hospitality sector.
  • Anuga Meat: The world of meat, sausages, game and poultry also has its specific destination at the Fair and its importance in the global food volume make it one of the benchmarks, ensuring the presence of the largest meat groups Germans and the rest of the world.
  • Anuga Organic: fashionable and with a strong presence in western countries, organic and vegan products have their participation in this exhibition space of the Fair, which also bets on the proximity products, local and by the fair Trade.
  • Anuga Drinks: the place for retailers and restaurants where spirits and soft drinks have their place. Avant-garde mineral waters, juices and soft drinks make room for the sample Anuga Wine Special, where the wines and beers of almost half a thousand wineries and producers present their fermented products.
