  1. The avocado must be ripe, otherwise it may taste bitter after baking.
  2. It is better to use dry garlic. Fresh garlic will overwhelm the rest of the flavors.
  3. It is better to take quail eggs, because a medium-sized chicken egg does not fit into the recess from the bone and half of the protein will flow out. Alternatively, remove some of the flesh so that there is more room for the egg.

Let’s get started: rinse the avocado first and cut it in half. Carefully remove the bone with a knife. Sprinkle the avocado halves with oil, sprinkle with pepper, salt and dry garlic. Break the quail egg into the pit from the bone. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees. The consistency of the finished dish largely depends on the size and ripeness of the avocado. If you keep the dish in the oven for about 10 minutes, then you can get a liquid yolk, like in scrambled eggs. And if you keep it longer, then the yolk will bake and the egg will be like a boiled one. In any case, it will turn out delicious.

How to choose and store avocados

When choosing an avocado in a store, be sure to pay attention to the color of the peel, it should be light or dark green, depending on the variety, without spots and putrid darkening. If you gently peel back the avocado tail, you will see that the flesh is bright yellow in color. Well, the easiest way is to press on the avocado with your finger, it should be easily squeezed through, and then take its original shape.

Just do not press with your fingertip, as this will damage the avocado, press gently with the pad of your finger.

If you bought an unripe avocado, place it on a plate next to the bananas or tomatoes, it will ripen in a few days. If you cut a green avocado, put the halves back together, wrap in paper and also leave on the banana plate. A microwave can also help make the avocado soft and edible. Place the sliced green avocado in the microwave for half a minute, it will soften but taste slightly different.

To keep the avocado from darkening, sprinkle it with lemon juice and refrigerate it so you can preserve it until you cook your next meal.

Whole, ripe avocados are best kept in a paper bag in the refrigerator to prevent spoilage or rot.

Few would think of avocado peels, but Calorizator reminds you that they are inedible. It contains persin – This is a toxic substance, in small quantities it is not dangerous for humans, but nevertheless in some cases it can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness and allergic reactions.
