Withdrawal from chronic alcoholism

Weaning people addicted to alcohol is not a problem in itself. It is based on a protocol that has already proven itself: alcohol is of course stopped and to help support the lack, it is recommended to drink 1,5 to 2 liters of drink per day (without alcohol, without sugar and without caffeine), take benzodiazepines (anxiolytics, anti-anxiety drugs) for 48 hours in high enough doses before gradually reducing them, over a maximum of 10 days, of vitamin B1 and folic acid. And in 3 to 10 days, the person feels less fatigue and mood swings, but more appetite… at least, until the next drinks. Because recurrences are very (too) frequent and that is the problem.
