What sushi are good for health

Sushi has become a part of our everyday life and has ceased to be a festive exotic. Lovers of this dish eat sushi almost every day, and in order to make the diet healthier, it is important to know which sushi is better to choose, which ingredients to prefer. After all, some of the products used in sushi are completely unsuitable for constant consumption.

  • More protein and fiber

Fatty sushi is often harmful to the figure, as it contains very little fiber from vegetables or protein. Therefore, after sushi, you often want to have a snack again. Add more vegetables to the sushi, order brown rice as a base – and the surges in sugar will decrease, and hunger attacks after sushi will disappear.

  • Add less cheese to sushi

Cream cheese and sushi sauces are too high in calories. Heat treatment also carries an additional calorie load. Therefore, when choosing between sushi with cheese or with vegetables, give preference to the latter.

  • Less soy sauce

The soy sauce is too salty and makes you thirsty. In addition, according to doctors, it can provoke stomach cancer. Too salty and smoked fish will also make you drink more water, and this is an extra burden on the kidneys.

  • Check the fish

Some types of fish that are popular in sushi preparation contain too much mercury, which is not excreted from the body and provokes a number of dangerous diseases. These are tuna, swordfish, shark, marlin and other predators. Prefer varieties such as salmon, eel, trout, crab or octopus over them – they are considered the least harmful.

  • Order sushi in a safe place

Raw fish requires a special approach and competent preparation, and therefore choose a place with a good reputation so as not to become a hostage of poisoning after eating your favorite dish.
