5 sauces that can replace mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is one of the most popular sauces, but it is not light in composition. What healthy sauces can replace mayonnaise and how to prepare them at home?

Garlic-yoghurt sauce – for meat and vegetables

You will need a glass of yogurt, half a head of garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Crush the garlic and mix it with yogurt, beat with a blender until smooth. Add butter and whisk again. 

Sour cream and soy sauce – for fish and seafood

Take a glass of sour cream, a tablespoon of soy sauce, 3 cloves of garlic, herbs to taste. Whisk the sour cream and soy sauce with a blender until smooth, add the crushed garlic and beat again. Add finely chopped greens. 

 

Sour cream-sesame sauce – dressing in salads, for meat and fish

Prepare 200 ml. sour cream, a tablespoon of sesame seeds, lemon, herbs to taste. Beat the sesame seeds, lemon juice and sour cream with a blender. Chop the herbs and add to the sauce to make it flavorful. 

Curd-mustard sauce – ideal for meat

Take a glass of milk, 100 grams of cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons of mustard beans, cumin and a mixture of peppers to taste. Whisk the milk and cottage cheese with a blender, add the mustard seeds and stir. Add cumin to taste and pepper. 

Lemon sauce with herbs – for dressing salads, for appetizers

You will need a bunch of parsley, a glass of natural yogurt, half a glass of vegetable oil, half a lemon, black pepper to taste. Whisk yogurt with herbs and pepper with a blender. Add oil and lemon juice and beat again until smooth.
