Holidays: meals you can cook with your child

Winter holidays are a great opportunity to teach kids to be independent and develop their culinary talents and aspirations. Simple but tasty dishes are suitable for experiments in the kitchen. These delicious ideas are for you and your kids!

Snack muffins

All children love cupcakes, and if they are made with healthy ingredients, they will be delicious and have fun. Muffins can be cooked for future use and then reheated in the microwave.

 

You will need: 400 grams of diced ham, 250 grams of grated cheese, 1 bell pepper, 4 green onions, 10 eggs, 200 grams of green peas, any seasoning to taste.

How to cook? Lubricate the muffin molds with butter, add the ham, chopped peppers, peas, cheese and herbs. Beat eggs with salt and spices, cover with muffins mixture. Bake muffins at 190 degrees for half an hour until golden brown on top.

Puree soup with tomatoes and lentils

Catching carrots and onions from the soup is still a pleasure for every child. Perhaps that is why puree soups were invented, where you cannot see anything and can be swallowed without chewing. And cooked with your own hands – even more so!

You will need: 2 liters of meat broth, a glass of red lentils, 200 ml of tomato juice, a tomato, 200 grams of hunting sausages, a celery stalk, onion, carrots, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

How to cook? Cook a low-fat broth, at the end add the onion, cut in half, parsley root, 2-3 cloves of garlic, bay leaf, 3 black peppercorns. Strain the finished broth. Cut the onion into cubes, the celery into strips. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the vegetables in it. Add coarsely grated carrots and fry until golden brown. Pour boiling water over the tomato and peel, remove the seeds. Cut the pulp into cubes, send to vegetables in a pan. After a couple of minutes, add tomato juice and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Pour lentils and vegetables into the broth, cook for half an hour. Blend the soup with a blender and return to the heat. At the end, add the sliced ​​hunting sausages to the soup and serve with sour cream and herbs.

Homemade pizza Papperoni

There are no kids who don’t love pizza. Made with your own hands at home, it is especially tasty. The filling for pizza can be different, all ingredients available at home will be used.

How to cook? To prepare the dough, you need to take 3 tablespoons of flour, 3 tablespoons of sour cream or mayonnaise, an egg.

Mix all the ingredients, add a pinch of soda, slaked with vinegar. Pour the dough into a round pan and bake for 10 minutes at 230 degrees.

Now take 150 grams of Mozzarella cheese, 100 grams of Papperoni sausages, 100 grams of tomato paste, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and a handful of pitted olives.

Grease the baked dough with sauce, sprinkle with grated Mozzarella, add slices of sausage and olives. Bake for another 10 minutes at 200 degrees.

Banana Eskimos

Parents always want their children to eat only healthy desserts. Banana popsicle is just one of this category.

You will need: 200 grams of dark chocolate, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 4 bananas, a glass of hazelnuts, 8 ice cream sticks.

How to cook? Cut the banana pulp in half across, string each half on a stick. Cover the dishes with parchment, put the bananas and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes. Finely chop the nuts, melt the chocolate in a water bath, add vegetable oil to it and stir until smooth. Dip each banana in chocolate and set. Dip again and roll in nuts. Return the dessert to the freezer for half an hour.
