Employees of Jeanswest (store name) reported that the camera, with the self-explanatory name Butt Cam, was hotly anticipated by visitors, they could not wait to finally see what their most delicious part in jeans from the latest collections looks like.
“It is very important for a woman how they look in jeans, because these are the most popular clothes in the world, and they must fit flawlessly,” says a spokesman for the company that developed Butt Cam.
Instead of trying to see themselves over the shoulder, which no one has yet succeeded in, shop visitors can simply put their hips under the camera lens and the image will be broadcast directly to the screen in the fitting room. In addition, if desired, the girls can demonstrate their rear view to their companions who remained outside the fitting room – the image can be displayed on a large screen hanging in the main hall of the store.
As the developers assure, the camera does not record video.
Jeanswest has already installed three cameras in stores in Australia and plans to ship them nationwide.
