Perennial garden vines require special care and wintering conditions. Among them, the most whimsical is the climbing rose. It blooms in early spring on last year’s shoots. Well-lit and draft-free areas are suitable for planting. The rose does not tolerate frosts, especially spring thaws. Its root system and shoots need reliable shelter.
Campsis is a frost-resistant liana for the garden, her photo is mesmerizing. The flowers are like gramophones, blooming in early summer. The flowering period is long. The plant is unpretentious, even if it is frozen, it recovers well from the root. Shoots are very heavy, require strong support, and grow well.
