Tip of the day: drink your own melt water

For easy restoration of water balance, you need to drink absolutely pure water, without harmful impurities. There should be no general mineralization in it; it should be no more than 250 mg / l. These requirements are met by melt (or it is also called “structured”) water formed as a result of melting ice.

Useful properties of melt water:

How to cook

You will need:

  • plastic containers or food containers;
  • about 1200 ml of water for 1 person, based on the calculation that one person needs at least 600 ml of melt water per day. You need to take more water, since not all of the resulting ice can be used for its preparation.

1. Pour filtered (or bottled) water into containers and freeze in the freezer.

2. After 8-10 hours, remove the containers and pour hot water over the bottom to make it easier to get the ice.

3. Inside the frozen water, you will see liquid under a thin crust of ice. Pierce this crust and pour out the liquid: we do not need it because of the impurities dissolved in it. From the remaining clear and pure ice, you will make structured water. If there is no water inside, but there is a cloudy “spot” – wash it with hot drinking water.

4. Place the ice in a ceramic or glass dish and let it melt completely at room temperature. The melt water is ready.

It is recommended to drink melt water 30-60 minutes before meals 2-3 times a day.
