They invented a miracle machine that makes juice and cups from oranges

Italian design firm Carlo Ratti Associati has taken fresh orange juice making to a whole new level.

According to kedem.ru, the company’s specialists presented a prototype device called Feel the Peel, which uses the peel remaining after squeezing orange juice to create biodegradable cups in which you can immediately serve the prepared juice.

It is a car with a height of just over 3 meters, topped with a dome containing about 1500 oranges.

When a person orders a juice, the oranges are slipped into the juicer and processed, after which the rind accumulates at the bottom of the device. Here the crusts are dried, crushed and mixed with polylactic acid to form a bioplastic. This bioplastic is heated and melted into filament, which is then used by a 3D printer installed inside the machine to print cups.

The resulting cookware can be used immediately to serve freshly squeezed orange juice and then easily recycled. It is noted that the Feel the Peel project aims to demonstrate and introduce a new approach to sustainability in everyday life.

Recall that earlier we talked about an unusual invention – a bracelet that shocks for bad habits, as well as a mood control device that was invented in Japan.
