The Taste of Tea

Patience… It is a film that reveals itself over time. It is not that we are bored, but rather, that we are bewildered. A boy runs after a train in which his beloved is leaving. Forced to stop, an animation train passes through his front!

This is The Taste of Tea: a film where everyday situations are endlessly caught up in the fantastic, the strange, the marvelous. A benevolent family, and a little crazy, ensures the common thread between several small stories all as charming as each other. The mother draws manga, the grandfather serves as her model, the son suffers from heartaches, the daughter is disturbed by her giant double who always spies on her when she is not expecting it …

And gravity is brewing too. Death is not absent from this happy world, and it takes wisdom to overcome the difficulties of life. An essential film.
