Precautions

Spinach juice is rich in vitamin K. However, vitamin K helps thin the blood in your body. Excessive consumption of this vitamin could cause health problems for people with blood clotting difficulties.

You should avoid consuming spinach juice if you are taking anticoagulant medication. You should also avoid spinach juice a few days before surgery to help blood clot (4).

Spinach juice is also not recommended for people with kidney stones. Better, ask your doctor for advice.
