You will need:

  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 finger of ginger
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 1 whole cucumber


Wash and clean your ingredients. Remove the seeds from the cucumber. Remove the core of the apple as well as the skin of the ginger.

Preferably keep the peels of fruits and vegetables if they are organic.

It is a detox juice strongly recommended for cures.


Spinach juice is rich in vitamin K. However, vitamin K helps thin the blood in your body. Excessive consumption of this vitamin could cause health problems for people with blood clotting difficulties.

You should avoid consuming spinach juice if you are taking anticoagulant medication. You should also avoid spinach juice a few days before surgery to help blood clot (4).

Spinach juice is also not recommended for people with kidney stones. Better, ask your doctor for advice.

1 cup per day of raw spinach is sufficient for the daily intake.
