Skin cleansing: clean your skin well to take care of it

To take care of your skin, the first step is to clean your face well. Clean skin is skin freed from the impurities of the day, clearer, more beautiful, and in better health. Discover our tips for cleaning your skin properly.

Why clean his face?

To have beautiful skin, you need to clean your face at least once a day. Why ? Because the skin is exposed to many impurities throughout the day: pollution, dust, perspiration. These are external residues, but the skin renewing itself continuously, it also produces its own waste: excess sebum, dead cells, toxins. If these residues are not removed daily by a good cleansing of the skin, your skin can lose its radiance. The complexion becomes duller, the skin texture is less refined, excess sebum is more frequent as well as imperfections.

As you will have understood, cleaning your face contributes in large part to having beautiful skin: daily facial cleansing helps prevent blemishes by avoiding the accumulation of residues on the face. Clean skin also absorbs skin care products better, whether they are moisturizing, nourishing, or treating sensitive skin or acne, for example. Finally, if you put on makeup, makeup will hold better on clean, hydrated skin than on several layers of sebum and other impurities.

Skin cleansing: combine make-up remover and face cleanser

Before cleaning your skin, you must remove your makeup if you wear makeup. Going to bed with your makeup on is the assurance of developing irritations and imperfections. To remove makeup, choose a makeup remover that is well suited to your skin. Vegetable oil, micellar water, cleansing milk, each has its own method and each has its own product. However, a vegetable oil will not remove makeup in the same way as micellar water, so you have to adapt the cleansing treatment that follows.

If you are using vegetable oil, then use toner to remove grease and makeup residue for clear skin. If you use micellar water, the ideal is to spray thermal water and blot it with a cotton ball to remove the last makeup residues but also surfactants contained in the micellar water. If you use a cleansing milk or lotion, it is a light foaming cleanser that will need to be applied behind to cleanse your skin properly.

No matter which facial cleanse you choose from the above methods, you should always end up with a moisturizer to nourish your skin. A clear skin is above all a hydrated and well nourished skin!

Should you clean your face morning and evening?

The answer is yes. In the evening, after removing your make-up, you must clean your face to remove the remains of make-up, sebum, pollution particles, dust or perspiration.

In the morning, you must also clean your face, but without having your hand as heavy as in the evening. We try to eliminate excess sebum and perspiration, as well as toxins that are released during the night. For the morning, use a tonic lotion that will gently cleanse and tighten the pores, or opt for a light foaming gel for gentle skin cleansing.

Cleanse your skin: and the exfoliation in all this?

It is true that when we talk about cleansing our skin, we often talk about an exfoliant or a scrub. The scrubs and exfoliating treatments are very powerful cleansers, which will dislodge the impurities which dilate the pores. The goal ? Refine your skin texture, cleanse your skin thoroughly, and possibly eliminate excess sebum.

Be careful though, scrubs and exfoliators should only be used once or twice a week to cleanse your skin. In daily facial cleansing, it is the assurance of irritated skin that will respond with excess sebum and redness.

For dry skin and sensitive skin, there are many ranges of gentle exfoliators, especially in drugstores. They will dislodge impurities while nourishing the skin, with softer formulas than classic scrubs.
