Method of preparation

Wash the fruit, peel, cut into wedges (no grains or pith) and place in a bowl. By the time of serving, sprinkle the fruits with icing sugar and, lightly salting, mix with mayonnaise and lemon juice. Then put all this in a slide in a salad bowl and sprinkle with orange zest, cut into very thin strips. You can decorate the salad with the same fruits. Depending on the season, you can pick different fruits, but always in combination with apples. Salad is served with cold fried or boiled meat, veal, lamb, poultry or game, as well as as an independent dish.
