Supervised by a midwife and a lifeguard, the aquagym sessions act on the muscles and joints without ever straining. No risk of muscle aches! We relax with aquatic yoga

Still little known in France, aqua-yoga, which combines the principles and movements of yoga and adapts them to the aquatic environment, is an original preparation particularly suitable for expectant mothers. No previous experience is necessary to practice the exercises. Very simple movements prepare the body for birth and facilitate contact with the baby, all in a climate of well-being and serenity. We float lightly

In the water, the free body of its clothes is lightened. The movements are facilitated and better perceived by the mother-to-be. No gravity effect! We float without difficulty with a feeling of lightness much more important than in the air. Water neutralizes the force of gravity which acts on our joints and also helps to maintain our balance (the famous Archimedes principle!). Carried by this environment, the future mother perceives her body differently: pleasure, harmony and balance are fully felt.

We get a massage with the watsu

Also called aquatic shiatsu, watsu, this new method of relaxation (contraction of the word water and the word shiatsu) is open to expectant mothers. Twenty minutes is enough, but the session can last over an hour if the mother lets go completely. The future mother is lying in water at 34 ° C, supported under the neck by the therapist. The practitioner gently stretches and mobilizes the joints, then he exerts pressure on the acupuncture points as in shiatsu. The impression is surprising: you are rocked and quickly in a state of intense relaxation which allows you to release your deepest emotions.
