The Rostov Museum of Fine Arts has opened an exhibition “The Mechanics of Leonardo da Vinci” – mechanisms created according to the drawings of the genius of the Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci. 29 exhibits are presented to the attention of visitors. “We tried to follow the scientist’s diaries exactly,” the museum said. “All mechanisms are made of wood and metal, that is, from the materials that were used in the days of Leonardo.” The lift, catapult, trebuchet and other exhibits can be tested on their own, and the guides will help to understand the principle of operation.

3 December the Russian New Year premiere – “Land of Oz” will be released on the big screens. Despite the “foreign” name, domestic actors Yana Troyanova, Gosha Kutsenko, Evgeny Tsyganov, Inna Churikova, Yulia Snigir and others starred in the film. The film is set in Yekaterinburg. The main character Lena, a kiosk saleswoman, is in a hurry to take her shift before the chimes. But New Year’s Eve, as it turned out, prepared so many surprises for the girl that it will be enough for the year ahead! By the way, it was not without extreme: according to the plot, the kiosk caught fire, 200 liters of diesel fuel were used for this scene, and then three fire brigades extinguished the site for an hour.
