P90X3: the super-intense complex of a half-hour workout from Tony Horton

Program description P90X3 from Tony Horton

P90X3 is a complex 30-minute workout by Tony Horton to effectively burn fat and build muscle body. The third part of the famous P90X program designed for maximum results in a short time. Forget about time workouts! You will achieve even greater results in just 30 minutes a day. This happens by combining high-intensity dynamic exercises that will help you get the body of your dreams.

The third edition is considered the most optimized and efficient. So consider not only fitness experts but also those who managed to try and compare all three programs, P90X. True, there are critics who claim that the complex, Tony Horton has lost its identity and became like other similar programs, such as Insanity and Asylum. However, most of the dealing is unlikely to be a shortage of such comparisons.

Tony Horton in P90X3 workouts uses the widest range of exercises that will help you to comprehensively work on the quality of the body. You are going to do weights and cardio workouts, plyometrics, mixed martial arts, isometric exercises, yoga and even Pilates. The goal of the program is to bring together several of the most effective forms of exercisethat will help to transform your body quickly, efficiently and easily.

P90X3 is a completely independent program. You can begin to follow it, even if not passed earlier P90X and P90X2. However, you must be physically prepared for workouts with Tony Horton, intense shock is not for everyone. During class try to move at your own pace, if necessary, make a short stop.

The complex P90X3

The program P90X3 includes 16 core workouts and 4 bonus: all of them (except Cold Start and Ab Ripper) last 30 minutes. In parentheses to the description shows the hardware you will need to complete classes. Note: one dumbbell, and the bar can always be replaced by an expander.

So, all the videos P90X3 can be divided into several groups:

Strength training for different muscle groups:

  • Total Synergistic: 16 special exercises for the muscles of the whole body that will help you find a great shape (dumbbell and bar).
  • The Challenge: the development of the forces of the upper body – mostly involves push-UPS and pull-UPS (horizontal bar).
  • Incinerator: an intense activity for all muscle groups of the upper body (dumbbell, horizontal bar).
  • Eccentric Upper: training aimed at the growth and development of the muscles of the upper body (dumbbell, horizontal bar).
  • Eccentric Lower: training aimed at the growth and development of the muscles of the lower body (dumbbell and chair).
  • The Warrior: aerobic-class power with the weight of his own body (no equipment).

Power cardio workout:

  • Agility X: to increase your speed and explosive power (without stock).
  • Triometrics: to improve balance, strength, flexibility and muscle strength (without equipment).
  • Decelerator: developing the stabilization muscles, coordination and balance (horizontal bar).

Fat burning cardio workout:

  • CVX: cardio intense with additional weight (dumbbells or medicine balls).
  • MMX: fat burning using elements of martial arts (without stock).

Exercises for development of balance, flexibility and strengthen core muscles:

  • X3 Yoga: power yoga for improvement of musculoskeletal system, the development of General strength and balance (without inventory).
  • Pilates X: Pilates for muscle strength, flexibility of joints and stretching (without stock).
  • Isometrix: isometric exercises for building strong, shapely muscles (without stock).
  • Dynamix: dynamic training for improving stretch marks and increase range of motion (without stock).

Bonus workout:

  • Cold Start (12 minutes): warm-up warm-up (no inventory).
  • Ab Ripper (18 minutes): exercise core muscles using both static and dynamic exercises (without equipment).
  • Complex Lower: strength training lower body (dumbbells).
  • Complex Upper: strength training upper body (dumbbell, horizontal bar).

As you can see, for the lessons, you will need a minimum set of equipment: only dumbbells and a chin-up bar. And both can be almost equivalent to replace the expander. If you use dumbbells, it is desirable to have several pairs of different weights or to use the collapsible dumbbells. Women’s fit weight from 2.5 kg and above men — from 5 kg and above.

As the previous two release of P90X3 is designed for 90 days of training. You will progress over the 12 weeks every day after each workout. The complex includes calendar of classes, depending on your goals you can choose one of four prepared schedules of training:

1) Calendar Classic. Suitable for people who prefer a desktop program with a uniform distribution of cardio and weight training. You will strengthen muscles, lose body fat, work on my muscles-stabilizers for better posture and balance.

2) Calendar Lean. Suitable for those who wish to get a lean toned body and not interested in muscle growth. In this case, the program will focus on cardiovascular activity and exercises for development of flexibility and mobility.

3) Calendar Mass. Created for thin people (of astenikov) who want to work on the growth of muscle mass. In addition to the workouts in P90X3 you will need to follow the diet. It should be in surplus and protein to trigger muscle growth.

4) Calendar Doubles. Complicated calendar P90X3, fits this extreme. Better go to the chart Double only if you have already passed P90X3 at least once.

What you need to know about P90X3:

  • The program consists of 16 half-hour workouts + 4 bonus videos.
  • P90X3 is a separate program and not a continuation of the previous two release. So you can follow it, even if you have not tried before P90X and P90X2.
  • For classes you will need a pull-up bar and dumbbells. And the horizontal bar, and dumbbells can replace a tubular expander.
  • The program lasts for 90 days, there are 4 different workout depending on your goals.
  • The complex includes a variety of workouts for all fitness trends. You can choose the individual sessions and to deal with outside of the plan.
  • The workouts became more intense than in previous releases, so you can achieve maximum results in 30 minutes a day.

You are still in doubt whether to try a new program by Tony Horton? It is unlikely you will find a complex that can compare to P90X3 diversity, efficiency and intensity of training. The third edition of the famous program exceeded all expectations and became one of the best modern fitness courses.
