Oval floated: 4 reasons why your face looks puffy

Oval floated: 4 reasons why your face looks puffy

Smoothness and elasticity of the skin is provided by the extracellular matrix of the dermis. Over the years, cell renewal slows down, the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid decreases, the skin loses its tone.

As a result, the oval of the face begins to “flow”. Legs and pronounced nasolabial folds are formed. Ptosis appears: the face becomes swollen and puffy.

Dinara Makhtumkuliyeva, a specialist in the TsIDK network of clinics, will talk about how to cope with such unpleasant manifestations.

In order to combat ptosis, you need to consider how your skin ages. Based on this, and choose the right method for treatment. In the early stages, it is not necessary to use heavy artillery: contour plastics, thread lifting, and so on, but you can restore the oval of the face with the help of massage, biorevitalization and other procedures», – comments Dinara Makhtumkulieva.

What is ptosis?

Facial ptosis is a situation where the tissues of the skin of the face sag.

At the first stage of development of ptosis, the nasolacrimal groove appears, the eyebrows change their position, the nasolabial fold appears.

The second degree is characterized by drooping of the corners of the mouth, the formation of a double chin, the appearance of a fold between the chin and the lower lip.

The third degree is characterized by thinning of the skin, the appearance of deep wrinkles, flews, creases on the forehead.

Causes

The main reason is of course age-related changes… It is genetically determined that the production of collagen in the skin decreases with age, this leads to a decrease in turgor and the appearance of wrinkles.

Of no small importance is correct posture… Insufficient tone of the muscles of the back and neck leads to the fact that the person begins to slouch, the tissues of the face are displaced downward.

Dramatic weight loss does not allow the skin to recover in time, while it sags and the clear contour of the face is lost. Weight management experts recommend losing weight gradually and using cosmetic procedures to maintain skin tone.

The appearance of ptosis is also influenced by hormonal problems, excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, smoking and alcohol abuse.

How to deal?

At the first manifestations of ptosis of the face, it is possible to cope without serious cosmetic surgery. Cosmetics containing collagen and hyaluronic acid, various facial exercises and massage will help here.

Starting from the second degree of ptosis, more serious drugs, procedures and cosmetic operations should be used.

  • Lipolitics

For the procedures, drugs are used that are injected into the skin using injections. They break down fat cells, allow you to restore the contour of the face and get rid of the double chin. The effect can be seen already after two weeks.

For the best effect, lipolytics are combined with massage.

  • Various kinds of massages and microcurrents

Allow to establish microcirculation of lymph, remove edema, tone the skin. The sculptural massage of the face has shown itself well, in which the oval of the face is restored in a short time.

  • biorevitalization

The procedure saturates the skin with useful amino acids that stimulate the production of protein, and the deficiency of hyaluronic acid is replenished. As a result, the skin becomes more elastic, acquires a healthy color, wrinkles are smoothed out.

  • Fillers

When tissues sag, the correction is performed not in the lower third of the face, but in the temporal and zygomatic zones. At the same time, there is a natural lifting of the face oval and outlining of the cheekbones.

  • Hardware cosmetology

At the moment, the most popular and effective devices for the restoration of facial contours are devices that use ultrasonic waves. With this effect, not only skin tightening occurs, but also an effect on the subcutaneous fatty tissue.

  • Altera therapy

Altera therapy is considered a non-surgical SMAS lift. During the procedures, ultrasound penetrates the skin to a depth of 4,5 – 5 mm and works out the musculo-aponeurotic system. This part of the skin is the skeleton of our face. Due to a decrease in collagen and elastin, gravitational ptosis is observed in these layers and flews, folds and creases appear. When the tissues are heated by the apparatus, collagen and elastin begin to be produced in an accelerated mode, which makes it possible to tighten the face oval without surgery in the shortest possible time.

  • Facelift with threads

There are now a wide variety of threads used for these procedures. The method is very effective and can replace plastic surgery.

In modern cosmetology, there are many procedures and drugs that can return a second youth to the face, but prevention is always the main thing.
