Variety of uses for coconut oil

Coconut oil causes a lot of talk due to the medium chain triglycerides in its composition. This type of fat is rapidly metabolized in the liver and converted into an energy source. It is easier to burn and harder to store as fat. Some medium chain triglycerides, such as lauric acid, promote your health by eliminating disease-causing microbes and reducing inflammation. Coconut oil is not only used in cooking – it is universal. Whether you want a snow-white smile or smooth skin, be sure of the wide range of possibilities of this richness of nature. In most recipes, butter can be easily replaced with coconut oil, and you can lower your cholesterol levels in your diet. Just use coconut oil instead of butter in a 1:1 ratio. Use coconut oil on toast as an alternative to sweet butter or jam. Today, the so-called “armor-piercing coffee” known in the West is coffee with butter containing medium chain triglycerides. Coconut oil works great for this oil. You probably know the good old method of treating a sore throat – tea with honey. But a spoonful of coconut oil will do just as well. An integral part of Ayurvedic medicine – whitens teeth, cleanses the microflora of the mouth and eliminates bad breath. Try mouthwashes with coconut oil, 15-20 minutes. When finished, spit it out and rinse your mouth well. Treat split ends and unruly scalp by adding coconut oil to your conditioner/mask. You can also rub a small amount of oil into the hair roots, hold for 10 minutes, then rinse. The worst thing you can do with an insect bite is to scratch the affected area. Instead, brush with plenty of coconut oil. It forms a protective layer and soothes annoying itching.
