Review of the workout Mary Helen Bowers

Our subscriber Christina shared with us a review of the programs of Ballet Beautiful, and we are very grateful! Reviews dealing is the most valuable material on our site, so we are always very grateful to our readers for such a huge contribution to the development of the project Share with you a very useful, interesting and informative feedback from Christina, after reading that you probably want to try workout Mary Helen Bowers today.

“In the company of Mary Helen Bowers I have been doing for more than a year, and one that’s about something so says. Primarily in Ballet Beautiful, I was attracted by the diversity training. At the moment my system of activities is as follows: first week — 5 workouts in the standing position, the second week — 5 workouts on the Mat. If you want diversity, you can just alternate sessions in different weeks. But came to this system, I, of course, not immediately.

My love for Mary Helen began with Body Blast. Since Total Body Workout, which is itself something good, especially for beginners, I was somewhat disappointed, as expected from a ballerina’s something really quite shock and exhausting. We all know what hard work is given to the dancers for their grace, fluidity and ease of movement.

And then I saw 2 of the segment Body Blast with emphasis on lower body. As a pear, declare that a lot of exercise on foot is not and can not be! Despite the fact that the leg falls here is not the weight of the whole body, but only their own, these segments of the workout beat the shit out of almost any daredevil! Like many of these exercises familiar, but agree, video is always much stronger motivation to exercise in the right quantity and pace rather than gifs or pictures on the network.

Tip from Christine: If at first you will be hard to do the exercises without rest, as does Mary Helen, stop the video and do a short stretch for both legs when you need it.

What became for me an even greater revelation is the famous segment is Swan Arms with the same DVD, Body Blast, which showed me that the plan can be both graceful and effective. In addition, unlike many other workouts but this does not entail any negative consequences for my not very healthy shoulder.

If the load seems to you insufficient, you can try another disc — Backstage Workout. Or even to combine these two workouts to your liking. In this program there are two segments that are pleasantly different from all the others presented on other DVD Ballet Beautifull. First and foremost is, of course, the segment from which the training session starts. For me personally it was a serious test, because I believed that my sense of balance seriously pumped after cardio workout with Mary Helen. As it is not so! On the Mat, on all fours — that’s where you challenge your vestibular system!

The second interesting segment follows immediately after the exercises at the press. This is leg raises from the prone position. Initially, when this type of load are still a novelty, these exercises are quite hard. In fact, Mary Helen had independent training with such exercises and compound in which they can be found. And all of them are well worked rear thigh and buttocks. Wow!

If we talk about cardio training, then it’s very hard. I love the Sculpt & Burn Cardio Blastand Swan Arms Cardio. In General, a distinctive feature of the training Ballet Beautifull in the standing position is that you don’t work any one muscle group. You work from all have involved everything: feet, hands and press, and spin. Plus, there is a constant work on improving coordination, posture and balance.

Tip from Christine: If at first you do not have time to repeat all the movements, try slow the video and perform the exercise at a slower pace. In ballet training, the correct execution of exercises is as important as ever. And remember the rule: the knee and toe should look in the same direction. If you are a professional dancer and have no relationship to the dancing, do not try to twist the leg as much as Mary Helen. Exercise should benefit and not injure your joints.

Frankly, to these exercises of grace in me was not at all. I had poor posture (Hello, my weak spine!) and I always fell somewhere to the side. Workout with Mary Helen became my motivation not only in terms of work on the stretching, I learned to keep back and shoulders straight. I no longer shake from side to side. For such a big deal from birth, like me, this is huge progress.

I am convinced that Ballet Beautiful, ballet and other training generally is a option for those who at any age wants to stay in shape. Because this system gives us a huge selection. We can bring in the form of the feet, even with weak knees, to swing a press with no annoying twists and work on the hands, even if push-UPS we do not (yet) given. And let’s not forget about such important things for people of any age and gender, as the sense of balance, stretching, and proper posture. Just give a chance to these exercises and include them in its programme. I’m sure you won’t regret it!”

And we again thank Christine for such a complete review about the programs of Ballet Beautiful and practical advice based on his experience of training with Mary Helen Bowers
