Lifting dumbbells with one hand in the direction of technique of the exercise:

  1. Select a dumbbell of a suitable weight for you, and take it in hand. Free hand has to rely on something stable, to give the body balance during exercise.
  2. Stand up straight.
  3. Keeping the body straight, exhale, slowly raise dumbbell to the side. The arm is slightly bent at the elbow. Hold the dumbbell in the top position for 1-2 seconds.
  4. On the inhale slowly lower the dumbbell down.
  5. Perform the exercise with your other hand.
