- Do not punish him for poor grades, but sincerely rejoice at any, even minor, success.
- Develop your child’s independence. Any voluntarily and independently completed school assignment is a reason for praise. And if it was done with mistakes, then all the edits must be made correctly, patiently explaining to the kid his mistakes, but not scolding him. The acquisition of knowledge should not be associated with negative emotions.
And the main thing. Before you accuse your student of neglect of study, mediocrity and laziness, understand yourself. Who needs excellent grades at the cost of tears, scandals and hours of preparation – a child or you? Are these marks worth his experiences?
