Before applying makeup, it is necessary to correct the shape of the eyebrows by removing excess hairs. The eyebrows should be slightly wider at the bridge of the nose and taper towards the temples. The distance between the eyebrows should be 1-2 fingers wide. Eyebrows fused on the bridge of the nose give the face a gloomy sullen look; if the distance is increased too much, the face will look silly.

Use tweezers or tweezers to remove hairs. Do not trim your eyebrows: new hairs will grow stiff and unruly. In addition, in brunettes and dark brown-haired women, dark dots from shaved hairs will be clearly visible on the upper eyelid.

The color of the pencil should be 1-2 tones darker than the hair and 1 tone lighter than the eyelashes. It is better to purchase pencils in 2 shades: the lighter ones draw short strokes along the growth of the hairs, the darker slightly emphasizes the lower line of the eyebrows.

A black pencil is suitable only for brunettes. Blondes, brown-haired women and owners of brown hair are better off choosing shades of brown. The pencils must be sharpened to make the colored brows look natural.

If you want to make the eyebrows visually thicker, draw short strokes in the direction of the hair growth. First, apply fine strokes at the bottom of the eyebrow in between the hairs, going from bottom to top towards the temples. Then draw shorter and thinner strokes in the upper part, directed from top to bottom and also towards the temples. You cannot draw a solid line: such makeup will look ugly and unnatural.

To brighten the eyebrows, brush them up with a brush, tint the roots of the hairs with a darker tint pencil, then comb the hairs in the direction of natural growth.

It is very important to observe the measure when dyeing eyebrows. Eyebrows that are too dark or too bright will look unnatural and will not add beauty to you. You should not adjust the width of the eyebrows with a pencil: a dark drawn line framed by light hairs or eyebrows drawn on the skin around a natural line look equally unfortunate.
