House of a man obsessed with houseplants: photo

And the main flower in this oasis is the owner himself.

Adam Lin is a fashion designer from Melbourne. The profession obliges, so with fashion and design, Adam is on your toes. Moreover, the design is not only of clothes. He also decorated his apartment himself. And if you consider that for the past four years he has been a fan of indoor plants, it turned out quite unusual.

As Adam admitted, in recent years he has spent more than 50 thousand dollars on plants. He has more than 300 pots, pots and flowerpots in his house, among which the designer poses with pleasure.

“When I see empty space, a picture immediately appears in my head of how it can be transformed with the help of plants. It happens by itself, involuntarily, “- said Adam in a conversation with the Daily Mail.

An ordinary YouTube video served as the impetus for this unusual hobby. Adam was so impressed by the collection of the blogger who spoke fondly about his green pets that he decided to also do gardening within his own apartment.

“I am a very anxious person by nature, and fiddling with plants calms me down,” explains Adam. “Besides, it’s very pleasant to watch a new leaf unfold.”

The most impressive place in Adam’s apartment is the bathroom. He turned her into a jungle. By the way, the designer who was discussing Gigi Hadid’s apartment would surely have liked this idea.

Each plant has its own watering schedule and needs. To care for them, Adam spends one and a half to two hours a day in the summer and an hour or two a week in the winter.

“When I go on business trips, my green children are looked after by a professional gardener,” adds Adam.

The designer advises everyone to buy large deciduous plants so that the gaze is focused on them. They look much more advantageous in the interior than many small flowers. The guy is sure: any environment can be freshened up with the help of indoor plants, and for little money. It only takes four steps.

  • Throw away old furniture, accessories and decor.

  • Pick up decorative items made by local craftsmen.

  • Buy furniture and other necessary things in inexpensive chain supermarkets like IKEA and change them to your liking: paint, put on a cover, add pillows, etc.

  • Buy some large plants with large leaves.

Well, the main flower in this jungle is Adam himself. He clearly admires himself, judging by the photo on his Instagram: plants favorably set off his exotic appearance.
