With this year’s motto, Promoting the fruit and vegetable sector around the world, comes this new edition of the International Fair of the Fruit and Vegetable Sector, Fruit Attraction 2016.
This is the 8th edition of Fruit Attraction, and from tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5 to 7, it will be offering the entire roster of novelties through the exhibitors, at the Fairgrounds of the CCAA of Madrid (IFEMA) throughout the pavilions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
The meeting is organized by the IFEMA Fair entity itself and by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Producers Exporters of Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants, FEPEX, and as in previous editions of Fruit Attraction, it summons and brings together more than a thousand companies from all over the world, occupying an exhibition area of more than 30.000 m2.
It will be 3 days where you can get business contacts to develop B2B business relationships with companies and professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector.

The gastronomic space of Sabores de Vanguardia
Fruit Fusion, is the place where gastronomy at the service of vegetables comes to life by itself, hand in hand with a range of activities that value Fruits and Vegetables, within the culinary panorama.
It is a unique promotion scenario for the players in the sector, as well as a springboard for the development and promotion of consumption in the hospitality channel.
The framework of the activities that encompasses Fruit Fusion, is based on attractive product demonstrations and tastings by the best chefs and renowned national and international chefs.
We want to highlight in this year’s program, the showcooking or live culinary demonstration of:
- The artichokes of the Vega Baja, with their journey through tradition, innovation, textures and flavors with the slogan, from the root to innovation.
- The one with the pomegranates of Mollar de Elche, where we can discover the gastronomic potential of dishes that combine tradition and pure flavor, with innovative techniques to get the most value and use out of the product.
- The Mediterranean Monterosa tomato, where this new variety becomes a main protagonist in the kitchen with new cutting techniques and their applications.
- The one with the black garlic, and its immersion in the world of cocktails,
