Face masks at home

You do not need to spend a lot of money on cosmetics from the store. The best mask is the one that is prepared at home from natural ingredients.

Cosmetologists distinguish four types of skin. And special masks have been developed for each one. Let’s find out how to correctly determine your skin type.

If your pores get dirty quickly, your face has an unnatural shine – you have oily skin. If you can’t appear in public without a moisturizer, your facial skin is peeling – it means that it is dry. If the T-zone quickly gets dirty on your face and glows with an unhealthy shine, and the rest dries and flakes off – your skin type is combined. In case the skin does not cause any problems-this is the normal type.

At the time when you will apply the mask, it is advisable to completely relax, hear the silence, listen to your favorite music. If you can’t lie down with the mask on, at least don’t talk.

Masks for oily skin types:

1. “Meringue”. Whisk one egg white, add to it a few drops of lemon juice, apply the mass on the face. After it dries, wash off the mask with acidified water (1 tsp vinegar per 0.5 liters of boiled water).

2. “Yolk-lemon”. Mix one egg yolk, the juice of half a lemon, one teaspoon of olive oil or other vegetable oil, mashed lemon peel. Apply this mixture to the skin of the face, except for the area under the eyes (since the mask has a tightening effect). Hold this mask for 25-30 minutes, then rinse with warm water, then rinse your face with cold water.

3. “Hercules”. Pour 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with a few spoonfuls of milk or cream. After the flakes swell, smear the resulting gruel on your face, leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off the mask first with hot, then cold water. The mask “Hercules” makes the skin smoother, matte, removes excess fat.

4. “Yeast”. Yeast mask smoothes wrinkles, refreshes the skin. It is especially good for skin with acne. Regular (1 time a week) use of this mask cleanses and makes the skin matte. Dilute a piece of yeast with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Lubricate the face with this gruel, leave for 25 minutes, then wash the skin with hot water, then rinse with cold water.

Masks for dry skin type:

1. “Aphrodite”. Grind 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, add 1 tablespoon of milk, 1 teaspoon of honey. Keep the mask on your face for 25-30 minutes.

2. “Honey-yolk”. Mix thoroughly 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of fresh sour cream or vegetable oil. Apply the resulting mixture to the face, leave for 15-20 minutes, then rinse the mask with cold water.

3. “Mint ice cubes”. Prepare the cubes from the mint infusion. These cubes can be used to massage dry skin – they will refresh and tone it.

4. “Grapefruit”. Squeeze the juice from the grapefruit, rub it on the neck and face, mix the remaining pulp with sour cream and raw yolk. Apply this mass to the skin of the face and neck for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water with a cosmetic sponge. The mask is recommended to be done 2 times a week.

Masks for normal skin type:

1. 2 egg yolks, 200 g sour cream, 1 tbsp vegetable oil, 2 tbsp honey-all gradually whisk, add 30 g of alcohol, and drop by drop the juice of one lemon. Apply to the skin for 15-20 minutes.

2. Apply half of the grated apple, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablets of ascorbic acid to the face for 15-20 minutes.

3. Grape lotion. Mash 400 g of grapes, leave for 2 hours, strain, mix the resulting juice with 2 teaspoons of honey, as well as 1 teaspoon of salt. Add 50 ml of vodka. Mix everything thoroughly. Moisten a cotton swab with this lotion, wipe the skin of the neck and face in the morning and evening. Blot the remains with a napkin. This lotion can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 months. The lotion is recommended for moisturizing the skin.

Masks for all skin types:

1. “Cucumber”. Take the cucumber skin, always freshly cut. Cover your face with these strips, press them tightly with your hands, and cover your face with gauze. After 20-25 minutes, remove the strips, “drive” the nourishing cream into the skin. Cucumber mask nourishes and refreshes well, as well as whitens the skin.

2. “Carrot”. 2 pale yellow carrots, well washed, grated. Please note that carrots of a bright color color the skin. Add the yolk and a few drops of nut oil, this will increase the nutritional value of the mask, and will also work especially well on dry skin. Apply this mixture thickly on your face. After 20-25 minutes. remove the mask with a cotton swab soaked in warm water. Instead of nut oil, you can take castor oil.

3. “Tangerine”. Peel the tangerine, mash it to a pulp, thicken the mass with flour or starch. Apply a thick layer to the face and decollete. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Remove with a spatula or cosmetic sponge. The course consists of 10 procedures 2 times a week. This mask refreshes the skin.
