With Excel Online (formerly known as Excel Web App), you can edit Excel files even if the program is not installed on your computer.
- To get started, save your Excel file to OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive).
- Go to office.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Click on the file name. Excel Online will open the workbook in the browser.
- Edit the Excel file.
Note: You do not need to save the file, as all changes are saved automatically.
Not all features are available in Excel Online.
