Import data from Access to Excel

This example will teach you how to import information from a Microsoft Access database. By importing data into Excel, you create a permanent link that can be updated.

  1. On the Advanced tab Data (Data) in section Get External Data (Get external data) click the button From Access (From Access).
  2. Select an Access file.Import data from Access to Excel
  3. Click Open (Open).
  4. Select a table and click OK.Import data from Access to Excel
  5. Choose how you want to display the data in the book, where you want to put it and click OK.Import data from Access to Excel

Result: Records from the Access database appeared in Excel.

Note: When the Access data changes, you just need to click refresh (Refresh) to download the changes to Excel.
