Disney cartoon characters became parents: what it looks like

Usually beautiful stories end with “they lived happily ever after.” But how exactly – this is not shown to anyone. We saw the life of family characters except in “Shrek”. The artist decided to fix it.

What they did not do with the characters of Disney cartoons: they copied the costumes, and turned babies into princesses, and came up with what the mothers of the characters would look like, and drew them in the form of a pin-up. And they even “humanized” them – they fantasized what the same princesses would look like if they were real women. Like, the hairstyles would not be so perfect, and the waists would not be so thin. But this is a fairy tale, it must be magical. There is enough reality outside the window.

The only thing that has not yet been done is not come up with the continuation of the stories. That is, usually all fairy tales end with a happy ending, with the words “they lived happily ever after,” but exactly how they lived, and how happy – we have not seen this. But now we’ll see.

Pocahontas – the star of “Titanic”

An artist from Australia named Isaiah Stevens made Disney characters family people: here the little mermaid Ariel tries to feed her son porridge, and he spits merrily, here Pocahontas is resting, and her newborn baby is lying nearby. Belle is breastfeeding her baby on a bench in the park, Tiana chuckles as she watches the baby spray directly onto her husband’s shirt. And Prince Philip is going through all his might – he is present at childbirth. Soon he and Princess Aurora – Sleeping Beauty – will have an heir.

By the way, maybe these illustrations will inspire animators to shoot a sequel to their favorite fairy tales? Still, it would be interesting to see what kind of parents will turn out from fairy-tale princes and princesses. After all, all babies, even if they are of royal blood, behave exactly the same. In most cases, it is completely unglamorous.
