Dinner in 15 minutes: spaghetti with vegetables and cheese

When there is little time for cooking, a recipe for pasta with cheese and vegetables cooked in the same dish will help out. It is enough to prepare the ingredients and cook them. You won’t have time to blink, and a delicious Italian dish will already be waiting for you! 

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes -15 pcs.
  • Garlic -3 cloves
  • Chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Spaghetti – 300 g
  • Basil – 1 bunch
  • Olive oil – 4 tablespoons l.
  • Water – 400 ml
  • Hard cheese – 30 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper (ground) – to taste

Method of preparation: 

  1. Prepare food. Cut the tomatoes in half. Peel the garlic and cut each clove into thin slices. Cut the hot pepper pod into slices. Peel the onion. Cut the fruit in half. Cut each piece into half rings.
  2. Then in a pan with a wide bottom and low sides, place the raw spaghetti, put them right in the center of the pan.
  3. Add onions, garlic, hot peppers and cherry tomatoes to the spaghetti. It is best to arrange the vegetables on either side of the pasta.

4. Wash the basil. Add it to the saucepan with other foods. And set aside a few leaves for the finishing touches of the dish.

 

5. Pour olive oil over everything. Add black pepper and salt to taste.

6. Pour cold water into a saucepan. Turn on the fire. It takes about 10 minutes for everything to boil and the ingredients are well mixed.

7. Rub the hard cheese directly into the saucepan. Add the remaining basil leaves, some more salt and pepper.

8. Wait a few minutes, thin spaghetti will cook faster, thick ones will need to wait a little longer.

Serve hot spaghetti with vegetables and cheese, draining the water.
