Pineapples have long ceased to be exotic, since now you can buy fresh or canned fruits in any supermarket. And a light salad with pineapple, which will become a festive table decoration, will not burden the stomach with unwanted calories.

Pineapple salads: simple recipes

Salads with Pineapple and Chicken are especially popular, which are a tasty and healthy snack at any time of the day.

Chicken with pineapple salad

To make a salad with pineapple and chicken, you will need: – 500 grams of chicken meat, – a can of canned pineapples, – 500 grams of fresh champignons, – lemon juice, – mayonnaise, a pack of yogurt, mustard, – dill, black pepper and salt to taste …

Boil the chicken in salted water. Wash the mushrooms, dry, separate the mushroom caps from the legs and boil them in water, which must be salted before that, and acidified with lemon juice and vinegar. Cut the boiled meat and mushrooms into small pieces, finely chop the dill. Remove the pineapples from the syrup and dry.

Remember to drain the canned pineapple so that there is no excess juice in the salad, which dilutes the dressing.

Now make the sauce by mixing yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard and black pepper (the amount to taste). Stir all the ingredients, season the salad, let it soak and serve.

Pineapple and smoked chicken salad

Another recipe for a quick and easy pineapple dish is a salad with smoked chicken and pineapple. Take: – smoked chicken breast, – a can of canned pineapples, – 4 eggs, – mayonnaise, – any hard cheese.

If you lead a vegetarian lifestyle, then instead of chicken, you can put pickled mushrooms in the salad.

Remove the pineapples from the syrup and dry. Cut the smoked breast into medium-sized slices. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, do the same with hard-boiled eggs. Combine all the ingredients and season the salad with a little mayonnaise.

Pineapple, peach and strawberry salad

To prepare a dessert salad with fruits and pineapples, you will need: – 250 grams of fresh strawberries, – 1 canned peach, – 2 cups of canned or fresh pineapple, – 1 orange, – 1 pod of red sweet pepper, – several heads of green salad.

For the sauce, prepare: – 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, – 1 tablespoon of sour cream, – 3 tablespoons of wine vinegar, – salt, 1 pinch of ground coriander and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh basil.

Rinse the strawberries, dry and remove the stalks. If the berries are large, cut them into four parts, if small – in half. Remove the pineapples and peaches from the syrup, dry them and cut into cubes and thin slices, respectively. Peel the orange.

When peeling an orange intended for salad, do not be lazy and always remove the white layer and transparencies from the pulp from the slices – this will make the salad much tastier.

Remove the stem and core of the pepper, then rinse the pod, dry it and trim it into thin long strips. Peel the green lettuce from the outer leaves, leaving only the light inner leaves, which cut into four parts, wash and shake off any moisture. Place the lettuce leaves in a salad bowl and place the rest of the thoroughly mixed ingredients on top of them.

For the sauce, beat vegetable oil, vinegar and sour cream with a mixer into a thick mass, add coriander and salt to the mixture. Pour the sauce over the salad, sprinkle it with finely chopped basil herbs and serve the dish to the table.

This salad goes well with the finest slices of crispy bread or warmed white bread spread with lightly salted butter

Canned squid and pineapple salad

There is also a variant of pineapple salad with seafood – for example, squid. Take: – 1 kg of frozen squid, – 6 eggs, – 1 fresh pineapple, – 1 can of canned corn, – mayonnaise.

Place the squid in boiling water and cook for three minutes. Hard boil the eggs and cut them into strips along with the boiled squid. Peel the pineapple, remove the tough core and cut into rings. Drain excess corn juice. Take a quarter of the lemon zest and chop it into a salad. Toss all the ingredients and season your pineapple and squid salad with mayonnaise to taste.

Pineapple with celery salad

Pineapple salads also work well with vegetables like celery. Take: – fresh pineapple, – stalked celery, – a tablespoon of vinegar, – vegetable oil, – sugar, salt and ground black pepper.

Peel and core the pineapple, rinse the celery and cut into strips. Mix celery and pineapple in equal proportions. Prepare a sauce with three tablespoons of vegetable oil, a tablespoon of vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper to taste. Season with pineapple and celery sauce, put salad on fresh lettuce leaves and serve.
