World renowned artist Debbie Wingham has created a 100-pound wedding cake in the shape of a bride. It was intended for a bridal salon and cost customers a million dollars.
The height of the “bride” was 180 centimeters, and six loaders were needed to deliver it. It took Debbie 10 days to make this cake. She needed 1000 eggs and 20 kg of chocolate. And the bride’s dress is made from 50 kilograms of confectionery paste.
Of particular value are inedible details – five thousand handmade mastic flowers and ten thousand edible pearls. In addition, five real pearls were hidden in the bride’s dress and headdress, each of them worth 200 thousand dollars.
This is not Debbie’s first such job, Wingham has already produced $ 16 million shoes, a $ 4,8 million diamond dress and the world’s most expensive wedding cake, which cost a customer $ 67 million, during her career.
As for the fate of this “million dollar bride”, after the presentation, the cake was cut into pieces and served to the guests, after having picked out the precious stones.
