Just imagine, attorney Guido Grolle, who lives in Dortmund (Germany), has been delivering dozens of pizzas every day for the last 2 weeks. Moreover, he himself does not order these pizzas. And he has no idea who is doing it.
“On one day, between 9:20 am and 9:47 am, 15 pizza pre-orders were placed. Who can order something so quickly…. It’s terribly annoying. I can’t even work normally, ”complains Guido.
Some pizzerias call him back to clarify the order, and some send notifications to his phone.
Already 100 pizzas have been ordered in the name of Grolle. The job of a lawyer is worth it, and he has no idea who can terrorize him in such a sophisticated way. By the way, sometimes the tastes of the “troll” change and he sends the lawyer sushi, sausages, hot dogs or Greek food.
The lawyer, however, is not inclined to accept these gifts calmly and, having hidden his phone number, having adjusted the necessary filters in the mail, turned to the police. There the case was classified as “hard stalking” (from English. stalking – “stalk” – ed).
It is not possible to initiate a fraud case, since the sender does not enrich himself by sending pizza, and Grolle did not receive direct financial damage. The only ones that can suffer losses are pizzerias.
According to one version, the stalker may be a disgruntled client or some competitor of a lawyer. If the persecutor is found, he may face imprisonment for up to 3 years.
And compassionate Grolle does not exclude that the cause of the deliveries could be a computer error or some kind of virus. Although the lawyer’s computer was checked and did not reveal any problems that could cause such a “pizza pad”.
