Beetroot salad with dried fruits and walnuts is a rather unusual dish that is prepared from almost incompatible ingredients. However, the specific taste of the vegetable acquires a certain piquancy thanks to the prunes. And the crispy walnut filling makes the salad original. The composition of this dish contains foods rich in vitamins, so it turns out not only tasty, but also healthy.

Beetroot salad with nuts and prunes

Prepare the ingredients for the salad:

– beets – 300 g; – prunes – 200 g; – walnuts – 100 g; – garlic – about 3 cloves; – salt and mayonnaise to taste.

Beets must be boiled in a peel until cooked, then cooled, peeled and grated coarsely. Prunes with nuts should be finely chopped with a knife and mixed, leaving a few ingredients for decoration. To make dried fruits softer, it is better to hold them in boiling water for about half an hour before cutting.

Garlic must be turned into a homogeneous gruel. This can be done either with a special crusher or manually. Next, you need to add it to beets, prunes and walnuts. The resulting mass should be seasoned with mayonnaise (you can mix it with sour cream).

Ingredients for the salad:

– sweet beets – 150 g; – walnuts – 30 g; – prunes – 40 g; – canned pineapples – 50 g; – orange – 1 piece; – sugar – 1 teaspoon.

Beets need to be baked in the oven, then grate and add chopped nuts with dried fruits to it. The resulting mass must be mixed with diced pineapple. Next, the beetroot salad should be poured with orange juice.

– beets – 200 g; – prunes – 200 g; – walnuts – 100 g; – any hard cheese – 100 g; – carrots – 200 g; – garlic – about 3 cloves; – mayonnaise – to taste.

Carrots must be stewed and grated, then finely chopped prunes, beets and walnuts must be added to it. Crush the garlic until smooth. Next, you need to mix it with grated cheese.

The salad must be laid out in several layers, each of which must be seasoned with mayonnaise separately:

– prunes and carrots; – garlic and cheese; – nuts and beets.

The dish turns out to be quite high-calorie, so it is not suitable as a light salad.

The chicken fillet should be boiled and cut into small pieces. Finely chop the prunes with nuts, and coarsely grate the apple with beets. To make the dish sour, it is recommended to sprinkle the apple with lemon juice. The ingredients can be laid out in layers or mixed in a deep bowl. Top the salad with a dressing made from bioyogurt, spices and salt.
