10 secrets of perfect pancakes
 

Maslenitsa has begun – this is a big and bright holiday of meeting spring and seeing off winter, in honor of which it is customary to bake pancakes for a whole week – a symbol of the sun. Our tips will help you please your loved ones with delicious homemade pancakes during Shrovetide week and on any other day.

1. Be sure to sift the flour for the pancake dough – this will not only save it from lumps, but also saturate it with air, make it more fluffy.

2. Before preparing the dough, keep the eggs and milk at room temperature for 1-2 hours.

3. First, using a mixer with a whisk, mix milk, eggs, and sugar with salt, and only then gradually add flour, bringing the dough to the desired consistency.

 

4. Add 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the finished dough.

5. The thickness of the dough should be like liquid sour cream.

6. Before baking pancakes, the pan must be heated well, and only then greased with vegetable oil.

7. Lubricate the pan with vegetable oil only for the first pancake.

8. For baking pancakes, ideally, it is best to use a special pancake pan.

9. Use a silicone spatula to turn the pancakes instead of the iron one, which can easily break the pancake.

10. Bake pancakes at maximum temperature, but remember that each next pancake is baked much faster than the last, so do not leave the pan.
