The fewer things, the easier it will be to move, which means that before spending money on a tenth mug or a new blanket, you will weigh the upcoming purchase in your head more than once. You will only spend money on what you really like, and throw away all unnecessary trash without pity, so as not to drag it from apartment to apartment.

To take a mortgage in Moscow, you need to accumulate at least a million, and even better, even more. To enter a rented apartment, you only need a deposit and money for a month. As a last resort – a percentage to a realtor, but it is also very far from a million rubles.

In a rented apartment, you can simply leave unpleasant people for another.
You don’t pay for breakdowns
Pipes, taps, wiring, washing machine and other things are monitored by the owners, who must pay for all breakdowns. So there is no need to puzzle over how to save up for the refrigerator if the old one suddenly breaks down.
Change interiors and locations every year
How tired of this nine-story building opposite the window, and you no longer have the strength to endure these wallpapers? It doesn’t matter – we pack our things in boxes and move to the lake, to the center or closer to the shopping center. You can choose interiors and places for yourself and not get attached.
You can move at any time
Of course, you can always dream of moving to another country, only the mortgage strongly binds you to your own apartment. But for tenants it is much easier – we pack a couple of suitcases with the most important things, distribute books to friends and go to the airport with a light heart.
You can live in the center
It sounds inspiring to save up for a mortgage and buy even a modest apartment in the very center, but there are not many chances. But renting a room in a luxurious Stalinist skyscraper overlooking Moscow City (or vice versa) is much easier.
