Xerula leggy fully justifies its name, its leg is not only very long, but also very thin, which does not prevent it from holding a fairly large hat of about 5 centimeters. This happens simply due to the fact that the hat is directed down along the entire circumference, it is a pointed dome.

Finding such a mushroom is quite difficult; it can be caught from July to October in a variety of foxes on larches, roots of living trees, or stumps. It is best to search near an oak, beech or hornbeam, occasionally it can be found on other trees.

Feel free to eat. You can easily confuse it with black-haired xerula, but both are edible, so there is practically nothing to fear, they have a normal taste. Xerula leggy this is a mushroom that is very rare, but, nevertheless, it is necessary to know it, it is very original in appearance.
