X-ray of ENT organs
The main method for diagnosing tumors of the pharynx, larynx, lower jaw, and paranasal sinuses is radiography.
Fluoroscopy of the pharynx with contrast and tomography, including tomosynthesis, are also used.
X-ray examinations are used for:
- tumor diagnostics,
- inflammatory diseases,
- for traumatic injuries of the facial skeleton,
- stenosis of the pharyngoesophageal junction and disorders of the separation function of the epiglottis of various etiologies,
- as well as in preparation for voice prosthetics surgery.
No special preparation is required for the study. If the separation function of the epiglottis is impaired, clinically manifested by the entry of food and liquid into the upper respiratory tract, it is necessary to notify the radiologist to select a contrast method.
You can take an x-ray of the ENT organs at the Prima Medica medical center any day by appointment by calling +7 495 120-01-07. The cost of radiography can be viewed here.
