Asp is a real white predator that lives in the upper layers of the water. Depending on the season, fish can be caught at different depths, but the modern wobbler is considered the main weapon for catching it. Asp feeds on fry, so the size of artificial baits is selected appropriately. For effective fishing, not only the length of the product is important, but also its weight, shape and color. The same wobbler may not work in different parts of the river, so catching asp is a constant search for a catchy nozzle.
Appearance and application of asp wobblers

- Small size. The maximum length of working lures is 5 cm. The same miniature products are used to catch a large predator.
- Natural color. Most anglers agree that “straight” asps work many times better than provocative colors. Usually, the wobbler is painted under the fry, drawing a dark back, eyes and a light belly.
- The presence of capsules inside. Many lures have a rattle that attracts active feeding fish, others have a magnetic capsule that increases the flight range.
- Powerful hooks. Asp is considered one of the strongest river rivals, so a sharp tee made of durable wire is a prerequisite for a quality wobbler.
Artificial nozzles are used mainly in flowing reservoirs. Reservoirs are considered an exception, where fishing is carried out from a boat. Asp is easy to calculate by “boilers”. A properly selected bait will give a lot of bites, and an unsuitable wobbler will only scare the fish.
