Tulips have earned great love from gardeners. And this is not surprising, because these primroses are distinguished by their unpretentious nature and a variety of species and colors. White tulips are especially popular. Breeders have bred many such varieties, differing not only in the flowering period, but also in the growth of the culture, as well as in the shape of the glass.

  • Ballad White. The variety belongs to the lily-colored class. The flowering period is the end of April. The growth of the culture is 60 cm.The bud is of a classic goblet shape with a diameter of 4 cm and a height of 6 cm.
  • Bolroyal Silver. An early variety of the “Triumph” class. The height of the culture is 60 cm. The glass is large with a height of 7 cm and a diameter of 4-5 cm.

For growing plants, it is better to choose a lighted area with light fertile soil. Sandy loam and loam will be ideal.

Original varieties of white tulips

Many exotic varieties of these flowers have been bred by breeders. If you want to grow unusual snow-white tulips, then pay attention to these of them:

  • Daytona. The fringed variety blooms in late May. The glass is large, up to 10 cm in diameter. Petals with a sharp needle-like fringe, are painted in a pale white color, but sometimes beige tulips are also found.
  • “Effeir”. The variety belongs to the “Triumph” class. Blooms in early May. The growth of the culture is 60 cm. The bud is goblet with a diameter of 4 cm and a height of 7 cm. The petals are painted white with a bright purple border.
  • “Cambridge”. The growth of the culture is 55 cm. A snow-white glass with a strong fringe reaches a diameter of 6 cm and a height of 8 cm. The flowering period begins at the end of May.

There are quite a few varieties of snow-white tulips. But any of them will certainly become a flower garden decoration. Moreover, crops are not capricious and a novice gardener can also grow them.
