What to drink: healthy drinks for your body

Stop taking the first bottle you come across from supermarket shelves, guided not by reason, but by the feeling of hunger or thirst. The responsibility for your health rests on your shoulders, and the burden can be significantly lightened by remembering once and for all which drinks to choose. Forget about sugary soda, artificial juices and sugary yoghurts, write down which one you prefer.

Water – the best drink to quench your thirst. Neither calories nor vitamins are needed, especially in filtered boiled water. But there is no better option to replenish fluid loss throughout the day.

Tea and coffee

These are great drinks for a daily tradition and a pleasant, cozy pastime. They are useful exactly until you decide to add sugar or heavy cream to them (or eat a pound of cookies for tea).

In addition to the well-known caffeine, these drinks contain more than 260 biologically active substances. They have tonic properties, have an antispasmodic effect, but are also a strong diuretic.

Green tea contains catechins that protect our cells from destruction. In addition, green tea helps our body adapt to adverse environmental factors.

Coffee and tea reduce the level of alcohol in the blood and liver, thereby preventing its toxic effects on the body.

Real light, properly brewed tea or coffee is useful for diseases of the liver and gastrointestinal tract, for cardiovascular diseases, although they should be consumed in moderation. The normal dose for an adult is no more than two cups of coffee a day, and no less than two cups of tea.

Natural juices

Natural not from the point of view of advertising, but from the point of view of common sense – squeezed with your own hand from the fruits that lie in front of you.

Such juices contain healthy fiber, trace elements and vitamins, as well as pectin substances, for which your intestines will thank you. However, even such a healthy drink has a limitation – no more than a glass per day, since the juice contains a lot of sugar, and preferably diluted with water. The juice should be drunk between meals or half an hour before meals.

Milk

Milk and fermented milk products are not suitable for everyone, but for those who have no problems digesting lactose and are not allergic to the product, it is better to include them in their diet.

Dairy products are a source of protein, vitamins and minerals, the main ones of which are a duet of calcium and phosphorus. Despite the benefits, milk is a high-calorie product and is not suitable for a dietary table.

Alcohol

As strange as it may sound, alcohol in moderate doses is useful – it can tone up, play out the appetite and aid digestion. Natural red wine is good for food intake – its use is even indicated for the risk of heart disease, as wine contains an antioxidant that reduces this threat. The dose of wine is 150 grams.
