What to do if the dish is too salty

It happens quite by accident that you oversalt some dish – do not rush to dispose of it.

If the first course turns out to be too salty, it can be saved by diluting it with boiled water. True, then the broth turns out to be unsaturated and loses its transparency. There are other ways as well.

For example, dipping a gauze bag with cereal into the soup – it will absorb excess salt, ideally if this cereal is rice. If you have cereal in portioned bags, just boil it in soup and the first is saved and the second is done.

Peeled raw potatoes can do the job as well as cereals.

If the salted dish is the second, you can save it with lemon juice.

Salted meat, fish or poultry stew in a non-salted sauce or with vegetables.

Over-salted meat is suitable for filling in dumplings, dumplings or pie filling.

Finely rub the zucchini, potatoes into the salted minced meat or add half-baked rice.

If vegetables are salted, pour boiling water over them and leave for a couple of minutes. Drain the water and your vegetables are delicious again!
