What to cook with pork ribs

The most juicy meat is always next to the bone, so pork ribs will delight you with delicious juiciness and aroma. To prepare any dish of pork ribs, you need to seriously approach the choice of these very ribs. The best option is brisket with meat, not lard. We will leave the tragic bones, in some places covered with small fragments of tendons and membranes, to careless sellers, let them be scrapped. Choosing fresh ribs of bright pink color, smelling of meat, and not incomprehensible what, you can prepare a dish worthy of all praise, without wasting a lot of time and money.

 

Pork ribs soup

Ingredients:

 
  • Pork ribs – 0,5 kg.
  • Potatoes – 0,5 kg.
  • Dill, parsley – to taste
  • Seasoning for soup – to taste
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Rinse pork ribs, chop one bone at a time, cut off excess fat. Pour ribs with water, bring to a boil, remove foam and cook for an hour. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into large pieces, rinse and send to the pan. Add salt, pepper and seasoning, cook for 20 minutes. When serving, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.

Braised pork ribs

Ingredients:

  • Pork ribs – 1,5 kg.
  • Potatoes – 1 kg.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Basil, dill, parsley – 1/2 bunch each
  • Pork seasoning – to taste
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Rinse the pork ribs, dry a little with a paper towel, if they are very large, cut into one bone at a time, if of medium size, then several bones per piece. Fry the ribs for 3 minutes on each side, put in a saucepan with a thick bottom. In the remaining oil, fry the onion, send to the meat, add 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Wash the potatoes, peel, cut into large pieces, fry and put on the ribs. Cook for 30 minutes, add seasoning, salt and pepper, finely chopped basil and chopped garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes, let stand for 5-10 minutes and serve with herbs.

Glazed pork ribs with barbecue sauce

 

Ingredients:

  • Pork ribs – 1,5 kg.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 2 prongs
  • Ketchup – 150 gr.
  • Maple syrup – 300 gr.
  • Mustard powder – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Wine vinegar – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Rinse the ribs, dry and cut into pieces, 2-3 bones in each, put on a baking sheet, cover with foil and send to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 25 minutes. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, ketchup and vinegar, add mustard powder, pepper and salt, add chopped onion and garlic. Boil for 20-25 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Grease the ribs with the sauce obtained, send them to the oven without foil for 20-30 minutes, if desired, turn on the “Grill” mode in the last few minutes. Serve with fresh vegetables and lettuce.

Spicy pork ribs for beer

 

Ingredients:

  • Pork ribs – 2,5 kg.
  • Garlic – 5-6 teeth
  • Mustard – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tsp
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Rinse the pork ribs, dry and rub with salt, then pepper and chopped garlic. Place whole in a greased baking sheet, if it does not fit – cut, coat with mustard. Cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Hint – prepared ribs can be left in the refrigerator for several hours, the cooking process will be accelerated.
